This is inaccurate for the Hyborian Age. A lore-accurate Pict must maintain their dark, copper complexion and lack the dense facial hair of the later, historical era.
Racial Traits of the Picts
The physical profile of the Hyborian Pict is defined by geographical isolation, Neanderthal interbreeding, and a unique evolutionary path. These factors separate them from both their ancient ancestors and their future historical counterparts.
Physical Characteristics
- Stature: The Picts are characterized by a short, stocky, and robust frame. This stout build is a defining trait derived from ancestral intermixing with Neanderthal populations during the late Thurian and early Hyborian Ages.
- Complexion: They possess a deep, dark copper skin tone. While they are significantly darker than the fair-skinned Hyborians or Cimmerians, they do not possess the deep obsidian pigmentation found among the peoples of the Black Kingdoms.
- Facial Features: They do not possess the epicanthic folds, or slanted eyes, common to later Native American populations. Those traits are exclusive to the Western Pict lineages that interbred with Lemurian refugees. The Hyborian Picts bypassed that specific evolutionary development.

Grooming and Hair
