Corinthia is a triangle of land south of Brythunia, west of Zamora, east of Ophir, and north of Koth. Its landscape is mostly dominated by the Karpash Mountains, which run along its south-eastern, southern, and south-western borders. A gloomier land never existed on earth. Cimmeria is a raw, savage, and heavily wooded country of hills and shadowed valleys. Covered by near-constant layers of fog, the dark ground absorbs endless wind and water only to release it back into the misty air. Winds blow sharp and cold, driving rain, sleet, or snow, and moan drearily among the passes and down the valleys. There is little mirth in that land, and men grow moody and strange.

Brythunia is located north of Corinthia, East of the Border Kingdom and Nemedia, and south of Hyperborea. The nation's borders are defined by mountain ranges on all sides except for its borders with Nemedia, which is defined by the Yellow River. The land is hilly and covered with forests, and is fairly fertile.

The Bossonian Marches, often referred to simply as Bossonia, serve as the iron buffer of the Aquilonian Empire. This frontier province is situated between the civilized Aquilonian heartland, the savage Pictish Wilderness to the west, and the brooding hills of Cimmeria to the north. While recent westward expansion has established the Westermarck as a new frontline against the Picts, the Bossonians remain Aquilonia's primary defense, a role they have fulfilled for centuries.

The Border Kingdom serves as a safeguard between the peaceful nations of Brythunia and Nemedia against their savage Northern neighbours. It is a Hyborian kingdom, home to exiled nobles, rebellious heirs, and criminals, and serves as a dumping-ground for all manners of miscreants, outlaws, and unwanteds from all across the lands.

Argos is one of the coastal nations of the Hyborian Age. The nation of Argos is in present day Greece, Crete, and western Turkey.

Aquilonia, known as the Flower of the West, is a land rife with intrigue, murder, horror, and the setting for untold campaigns. Aquilonia feuded with its neighbors Nemedia, Koth, Ophir, Cimmeria, and the Picts; it was eventually conquered and ruled by Conan before being destroyed by the Pictish invasion some five hundred years later.
